Boost Your Immunity

Boost Your Immunity

As many of us have been reading about how we can boost our immune systems, we're reminded to hydrate regularly, to sleep soundly, to exercise at a safe remove, and to eat a balanced diet with plenty of vegetables. Got it. We're completely on board. We also just want to remind our friends, that if you can peel yourself away from the news, and pause the Contagion-Pandemic-12 Monkeys stream - please take a moment to laugh. We know. There's nothing funny about the times in which we're living, and we don't mean to make light. With that said, let's lessen our anxieties with a dose of humor - "Laughter in the best medicine."

"...vast scientific literature has detailed how negative emotions harm the body. Serious, sustained stress, anger, and fear can alter biological systems in a way that over time adds up to "wear and tear"—and, eventually, illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Research shows that laughter does indeed improve our health and well-being. If you can laugh when you are stressed, anxious, worried, and even if you are ill, you can feel better sooner."
